Are you looking for a way to give back to your community that will BLESS YOU as well as those you are helping?
Come volunteer at the Gilmer Community Food Pantry

 On Monday-

We will be picking up produce, bread, meat and other products. We can use help packing USDA bags, eggs & stocking shelves before distribution day on Wednesday.

On Wednesday-
Be at the Pantry by 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to help with weekly distribution.  Numerous jobs include interviewing clients, pulling food & filling  carts, assisting clients by putting groceries in cars, stocking shelves as the food is removed & clean up at the close of the day.  Help unload the truck from Walmart @ 1:15 after the Pantry closes.

If you can volunteer just a couple of hours a week for any of these times or days, we would appreciate your help!

The economy has picked up and we are thankful that our numbers have decreased.  However, there are still many elderly, disabled, those with medical conditions and those living on low incomes with small children in the home who depend on the extra food we provide.
