Meet our Director
Allen Treibel has recently accepted the position of Executive Director of the Gilmer Food Pantry.
Allen is a familiar face at the pantry. He has been volunteering with us for 9 years.
He is a retired insurance investigator and Catastrophe Manager. He moved to Ellijay from Prairieville, LA shortly after Katrina.
Allen has a BS degree in Secondary Education and worked on his Masters Degree in Government. He served 4 years as 1st Lt. US Army Special Forces (Combat Diver).
We thank him for his service!
He was a CASA for 3 1/2 years and volunteered at the Bread and Bowl Soup Kitchen for the 7 years it was open.
