DO YOU NEED FOOD?
The Gilmer Community Food Pantry is open on Wednesdays only, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. for food distribution to needy individuals and families who are residents of Gilmer County. Please be there early, as we run out of fresh vegetables and some other foods on a busy day. Depending on income, you may also receive a bag of USDA food. Eligibility is determined by income and the number of persons in a household. One person per residence can receive food one time a month, and everyone who comes to get food will be interviewed each visit. You MUST BRING a picture ID and proof of Gilmer County residency, every visit, in order to receive food.
